Hi all!
Hope it's still not too late to wish everybody Happy New Year!
So what is your New Year's resolution? I haven't come up with any. Guess I will just continue with last year's resolution.;( But I do hope I will be blessed with an abundance of ideas for my craft projects this year. I do get crafter's block (writers not the only ones facing blocks) frequently nowadays. Thus, the far and apart entries in my blog.
My latest project is tissue box cover. I've given my siblings and parents one each. I intend to finish another one to be given to a colleague who is retiring in early February.
Till my next entry...
Peace.

More Traditional Dress Handphone Charms
Introducing the Kebaya Selangor as the latest addition to my traditional dress handphone charm. These were ordered by the Selangor Museum and I was specifically asked to make a Kebaya Selangor, not the Kebaya Labuh or the Kebaya Nyonya that I've done before.
I have enjoyed cutting, matching and sewing each and every one of these cute miniature Kebaya Selangor.
Thanks to Ms Ayu from Selangor Museum for believing in me.

Traditional Dress Handphone Charm
Salam all,
It's been quite a while since my last post. Too busy crafting and too busy being lazy to even update blog. Anyway, been doing many things during the hiatus. Will update soon (if laziness with a capital L does not overcome me). For now, take a look at the traditional dress handphone charms that I've done for Diana.
Thank you Diana for your patience and support.

Whimsical Tabby Cat
I am not really into cats, I mean live cats. My other half and my brood (with the exception of the eldest) love cats. I like to see cats and I'm amused with their antics but touch and hug them? No!
Since I like cats (albeit don't like to touch them), I like to collect cat figurines whenever I found them and display them at my office.
I also tried my hands to do felt cats and make it colorful and whimsical.
Here's the outcome. Enjoy!

United Colors of Domokuns
I am tired of making brown color Domos though I have many orders for this creature from my daughter's friends. So I tried to make them in various colors so that I can go on to fulfill the orders. Strange enough, I was so excited with the new colors that I made more Domos than ordered. Hehehe!
Tell me, don't you think the colorful Domos exciting?

Custom Made Orders
I have never made a handphone case before. Owh, okay, I did once but it was for myself and the result was not satisfying. That's why I never made anymore handphone case until my friend Moli requested me to do it for her daughter. I declined at first..wasn't sure how to do it and had no confidence at all. But when her daughter personally texted me, I finally caved in (after much persuasion).;-)
To Moli & daughter (and friends), I hope you are satisfied (and happy) with the outcome of your order.
Cheers,

Malay Traditional Dress
Wow! It's been more than a month since my last update. Time really flies....
Besides not having any new ideas, I was kinda busy with daily chores and completing orders..
Anyway, last 2 weeks, I was wondering what to give to a collegue from Japan. I wanted to give her something handmade and very Malaysian but couldn't think of anything. The night before her arrival, I suddenly got this idea and this is the outcome..
Don't you think this is just perfect to give as a Malaysian momento to our foreign friends? Oh, my Japanese friend was delighted to receive this souvenier. ;-)
And since then, I have came up with other designs for the Baju Kurung Johor..
Besides Baju Kurung Johor, I also did Baju Kebaya Labuh, Baju Kebaya Nyonya and Baju Kedah.
These miniatures traditional dresses can be made into keychain charms or fridge magnets.
Till next entry, take care!

Pqa's Order
Salam...it's been a long time since my last entry. The last 2 weeks of Ramadhan was chaotic....last minute shopping for my kids and trying to fulfill customers' orders on top of the heavy workload at the office.;-) Anyway, hope it's still not too late to wish everyone Selamat HariRaya Aidil Fitri!
Featured here is the name keychains ordered by Pqa (pronounced Pika) for herself and her good friends. Hope Pqa is satisfied with the result and I hope her friends do too.
